COVID19 Notice - from Misty Jones
I cannot express into words how excited I am to announce this...Starting July 5 we will be beginning to transition into having children’s church on Sunday mornings. We will have our meeting outside at the daycare playground. If it rains we will not have children’s church. The first Sunday in August we will take children’s church back up stairs. We have worked hard to renovate our program and make it stronger.
Also, in July we will begin our WisdomFest program. This year we are focusing on peer pressure. We will also have this meeting at the daycare playground. Meeting will start at 6:30 and end when prayer meeting is over. WisdomFest begins July 8.
We are so thankful for a faithful God. For a loving God. For a God who knows us and wants the best for us. I am beyond excited to be able to minister to kids again. To hear laugh and play. I have missed it so much!
Our Kids and Youth ministry is a vital part of Bethel Baptist Church! We take safety of children seriously. Each worker with children and youth is background checked, and we also lock doors during services and have a trained security team on site for all services.
DONNA BLAKENEY, COORDINATOR
Lifekids consists of Tuesday's Child and Read to Me Thursdays. Both are events that take place in coordination with the Child Development Center. If you wish for your child to attend, please contact Donna Blakeney. You may contact her through the church office.
BB Kids Children's Church, lead by Misty and Jeremy Jones, meets during the morning worship service. Children typically sit together on the front 3 rows on the organ side and are dismissed to children's church following the Pastor's Prayer Time (after the first two songs). All children are welcome and invited to attend. BB Kids also periodically hosts fun outings for children and a summer fun kids program on Wednesday nights when AWANA is not meeting, as well as VBS.
